Tomorrow is a big day in the life of Michael Cartwright Photography. We are moving out of our home office into a dedicated space at the Stockton Business Centre. I'm sure that Mrs C will be thrilled at the prospect of not having to live with all of my camera kit, tripods, photography books, reflectors, magazines, paperwork etc etc etc all cluttering up our modest 3 bed semi. I live and breath photography and my family have had to put up with me working from home every night, it'll be a welcome break from it all for my nearest and dearest.
So we head into a new era, with fresh ideas and a passion as strong as ever. Only today I have been meeting with other local suppliers to set up what promises to be a fantastic photo shoot down in old London town(more on that later). We have also been busy setting up wedding fayres in collaboration with the wonderful www.teesvalleyweddings.co.uk and are currently planning networking events for wedding industry professionals to help give brides the best services in the area. It's all go!
Keep watching this space for developments and please feel free to call into the new office to say hi. We're on Brunswick Street, just round the corner from the Arc.
Seriously can't wait for tomorrow, onwards and upwards! I'll post a picture of the office once we're all settled in.

Nicola and Mark's Engagement Shoot
Last Sunday newly engaged Nicola and Mark headed over to Hardwick Hall Country Park for an hour of photography to create a celebratory album of images. I wanted to capture the couple in a natural style that would express their true character and emotion towards each other. The shoot turned out to be really relaxed and I think that this shows in the images.
